In general bending backward is difficult, uncomfortable, and scary in our forward facing world. But to maintain a healthy, nourished spine backbends are a sustaining part of practice. In this workshop you will discover how to cultivate a feeling of strength , flexibility and effortlessness and how to prepare your body for backbends, how to use props for support in backbends and how to breathe well while doing a backbends. If you hate backbending, this workshop is for you!
